AppliChem synthesizes different biochemicals for other suppliers of the biotech industry and research. Therefore, the product line BioChemica originates from the custom synthesis. Today,AppliChem offers a wide range of biochemicals for biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology and molecular biology. Approximately one third of the BioChemica products and reagents is manufactured in-house, including enzyme inhibitors (e.g. bisindolylmaleimide, PMSF, AEBSF), detergents (e.g. salts of sulfonic acids, peroxide-free detergents), dyes (e.g. DAPI), urobilinogen, acrylamide solutions, phenols for molecular biology and ready-to-use reagents of toxic chemicals, as well as cell culture powder media. We provide reagents and powder mixtures according to our customer's recipes as an additional service. Another focus at AppliChem is the production of decontamination reagents, developed in cooperation with multiBIND, Cologne, (Removal of contaminations by nucleic acids by DNA-ExitusPlus™ and DNA-ExitusPlus™ IF; regeneration / decontamination of nucleic acid purification matrices; RNase decontamination for safe handling of RNA).
